  1. IN ALL SITUATIONS
    • Maintain Aircraft Control
    • Analyze The Problem
    • Take Appropriate Action

  2. CABIN ALTITUDE WARNING / ABNORMAL
    PRESSURIZATION
    • 1. Oxygen Masks And Regulators ... On/100%
    • 2. Crew Communications ..... Establish
  3. WARNING HORN (INTERMITTENT) OR WARNING LIGHT - CABIN ALTITUDE OR TAKEOFF CONFIGURATION
    If an intermittent warning horn sounds or a CABIN ALTITUDE warning light (if installed and operative) illuminates in flight at an aircraft altitude above 10,000 feet MSL:

    • Oxygen Masks And Regulators ....... ON / 100%
    • Crew Communications ................. Establish
    • Accomplish The Cabin Altitude Warning/Abnormal Pressurization Immediate Action Items And Checklist (Page A-15).

    If the intermittent warning horn sounds or TAKEOFF CONFIG warning light (if installed and operative) illuminates on the ground:

    Assure Correct Aircraft Takeoff Configuration.
  4. ABORTED ENGINE START
    1. Start Lever ................. CUTOFF
  5. ENGINE LIMIT / SURGE / STALL
    • 1. Autothrottle (if engaged) ... Disengage
    • 2. Thrust Lever .... Retard To Maintain Limits
  6. DUAL ENGINE FAILURE
    • 1. Start Switches ................. FLT
    • 2. Start Levers ................ CUTOFF

    With EGT decreasing:

    3. Start Levers .................. IDLE

    If EGT reaches 950C(NG)/930C(CL) or there is no increase in EGT within 30 seconds:

    Repeat Above Steps, As Required.
  7. ENGINE OVERHEAT
    • 1. Autothrottle (if engaged) ... Disengage
    • 2. Thrust Lever ..................Close

    THEN:

    If OVERHEAT light remains illuminated:

    Accomplish The Engine Fire/Severe Damage/Separation/Seizure Immediate Action Items and Checklist, Page G-11.
  8. APU FIRE
    • 1. APU Fire Warning Switch .... Pull, Rotate and Hold 1 Second
    • 2. APU Switch ......................OFF
  9. AIRSPEED UNRELIABLE
    • 1. Aircraft Attitude / Thrust ... Adjust
    • 2. Probe Heat ..............Confirm ON
    • 3. Mach/Airspeed Indicators ... Crosscheck
  10. ENGINE FIRE / SEVERE DAMAGE /
    SEPARATION/SEIZURE
    • 1. Autothrottle (if engaged) ... Disengaged
    • 2. Thrust Lever ..................Close
    • 3. Start Lever ..................CUTOFF
    • 4. Engine Fire Warning Switch ....Pull

    If the fire warning light or OVERHEAT light remains illuminated:

    Engine Fire Warning Switch .... Rotate L Or R and hold 1 Sec

    If, after 30 seconds, the fire warning light or OVERHEAT light remains illuminated:

    Engine Fire Warning Switch .......... Rotate to Remaining Bottle And Hold 1 Sec
  11. SMOKE / FIRE / FUMES ON THE AIRCRAFT
    • 1. Oxygen Masks And Regulators ....ON/100%
    • 2. Smoke Goggles (if required) ......ON
  12. LAVATORY SMOKE/FIRE
    • 1. Oxygen Masks And Regulators .. ON/100%
    • 2. Smoke Goggles (if required) ......ON
  13. RUNAWAY STABILIZER
    • 1. Control Column ..........Hold Firmly
    • 2. Autopilot (if engaged) ....Disengage

    If runaway stabilizer continues:

    3. Stabilizer Trim Cutout Switches ... CUTOUT

    If runaway stabilizer continues:

    4. Stabilizer Trim Wheel ... Grasp and Hold
  14. UNCOMMANDED ROLL (SPINDLE FAILURE) (CL ONLY)
    • 1. Autopilot (if engaged) ....Disengage
    • 2. Maintain Control Of The Aircraft With All Available Flight Controls. If Roll Is Uncontrollable, Immediately Reduce Pitch / AOA And Increase Airspeed. Do Not Attempt To Maintain Altitude Until Control Is Recovered.
    • 3. Thrust ...........Verify Symmetrical
    • 4. Go-Around .................Initiate
