    Consult w/ subordinates and uses suggestions in decision making
  17. Achievement Leader (Path goal)
    leader sets goals and expects others to follow him and perform at highest level
  18. Transactional Leaders
    Guide and motivate followers in direction of established goals by clarifying roles and tasks requirements.
  19. Charismatic Leader
    • Enthusiastic, self confident leader
    • Personality influences actions of others
    • Have a vision, willing to take risks to achieve vision
    • Sensitive to env. restraints (Global, general, specific)
    • Sensitive to followers needs
    • Out of the ordinary

    • Leaders inspire followers to transcend themselves for greater good of group
    • Leaders are able to inspire group, have a great effect on group
