    There are many ways to show an amount of something:

    MANY,SOME,SEVERAL,FEW*

    These can be used either before or after the noun.

    * You can also use the actual number of the item being discussed.
  8. Pluralizing time:
    You can pluralize MINUTE,HOUR,WEEK,MONTH by incorporating numbers. 

    For the most part only 1-9 can be used this way.
  9. Asking about Deaf family members:
    This is perfectly acceptable in the Deaf community. This information can contribute to better understanding of the person.
  10. Asking if hearing members of the family sign:
    This is common in the Deaf community. It helps to establish a Deaf's person experience.
  11. Indicating past,present or future tense.
    To establish time frame use a tense sign either at the beginning or end of the sentence.

    NOW, TODAY,YESTERDAY,BEFORE,RECENTLY,LATER, TOMORROW
  12. Incorporating numbers with personal pronouns:
    Up to 5, you can incorporate numbers to indicate how many people.

    • TWO-OF-US
    • THREE-OF-YOU
    • FOUR-OF-THEM
