    • — PM: Make a PA announcement. “Emergency Descent, Be Seated,” advise ATC, check Safe Altitude, obtain altimeter setting (QNH), turn SIGNS ON and Turn ENGMODE to IGN.
    • — PF: Select on FCU:

    Altitude: Select 10,000 or Safe Altitude, whichever is higher.Verify OP DES.

    Heading: Select a turn or proceed straight ahead.

    Airspeed: Select VMO/MMO or desired airspeed.
