Give consideration to a suspected fuel system compromise. If compromise is suspected, make every attempt to avoid ignition source. A fuel leak in the oil cooler area may result in flames or fumes near the APU/engine compartment
- Situation Critical:
- 1. Eng Fuel Sys selector on affected engine - XFD.
- 2. Fuel Boost Pump Control switches - No 1/2 Pump - On (As applicable)
- 3. Land as soon as possible.
- 4. Emer eng shutdown after landing.
- Non critical:
- 1. Eng fuel sys selector on affected engine - XFD.
- 2. Fuel boost pump control switches - No. 1/2 Pump - Off (As applicable).
- 3. Land as soon as practicable.
