The flashcards below were created by user jurria on FreezingBlue Flashcards.

  1. Ectoderm - Neural plate ectoderm
Brain, spinal cord, cranial and spinal motor nerves, posterior pituitary.
  2. Ectoderm - Somatic (Epidermal) ectoderm
Epidermis, Mouth (anterior), olfactory organ, cloacal opening, anterior pituitary.
  3. Ectoderm - Neural Crest Cells
Splanchonocranium, peripheral nervous system, adrenal medulla, melanocytes, teeth (part), cranial muscles, parts of the chondrocranium.
  4. Endoderm-Lining of the Archentron (gutlining)
lining of the digestive tract, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, respiratory tract (including the lungs), urinary bladder, cloaca, mouth (posterior).
  5. Mesoderm- Notocord
    Often reduced or obliterated
  6. Mesoderm- Epimere (somite)- Dermatome
    Dermis
  7. Mesoderm- Epimere (somite)- sclerotome
    Vertebral column, ribs
  8. Mesoderm- Epimere (somite)- myotome
    limb and axial muscles
  9. Mesoderm- Mesomere
    Kidney, nephric and reproductive ducts
  10. Mesoderm- Hypomere- Somatic
    Paired appendages, peritoneum, gonads (part).
  11. Mesoderm- Hypomere-Splanchnic
Heart, vessels, mesentaries, smooth muscle of the digestive tract.
  12. Mesoderm- Hypomere-Coelom
