    • freedom of religion, assembly, petition, press, and speech
    • RAPPS
  2. What is the second amendment?
    right to bear arms
  3. What is the third amendment?
    no military in your house except in war time
  4. What is the fourth amendment?
    no unreasonable searches
  5. What is the fifth amendment?
    right to remain silent and not incriminate yourself
  6. What is the 6th amendment?
    right to a speedy and public trial
  7. What is the 7th amendment?
    right to a jury in civil matters of $20 and over
  8. What is the 8th amendment?
    right to fair fines and bail, no cruel or unusual punishment
  9. What is the 9th amendment?
    Individual rights. Rights not given in the constitution are still rights given to citizens
  10. What is the 10th amendment?
    State Rights. Any right not given in the constitution is given to the states to legislate
  11. What is the 11th amendment?
    you can not sue another state except with permission by that state's judicial system
  12. What is the 12th amendment?
    the electoral college must have two separate elections for President and Vice President
  13. What is the 13th amendment?
    outlawed slavery
  14. What is the 14th amendment?
    foreign born citizens can vote
  15. What is the 15th amendment?
    all men can vote
  16. What is the 16th amendment?
    federal income tax
  17. What is the 17th amendment?
    direct election of senators
  18. What is the 18th amendment?
    alcohol is prohibited
  19. What is the 19th amendment?
    Women right to vote
  20. What is the 20th amendment?
    Jan 20th is the day that new president takes office
  21. What is the 21st amendment?
    repealed 18th
  22. What is the 22nd amendment?
    President can only serve 2 terms
  23. What is the 23rd amendment?
    Washington DC can vote for president
  24. What is the 24th amendment?
    You can't charge people money so that they can register to vote
  25. What is the 25th amendment?
    Lays rule for who becomes president if the die/ resign/ etc.
  26. What is the 26th amendment?
    You can vote at 18
  27. What is the 27th amendment?
    congressmen can't give themselves a raise in the same term
