  1. What is the 5 finger rule?
    • Is the stop light extinguished
    • Is driving allowed indicator displayed

  2. What is a FREP?
    Written procedure form that allows the passing of a closed marker or CV.
  3. What is a verbal Frep?
    A verbal authorisation to pass a closed marker as long as the marker has FV after it.
  4. What is a CHEX?
    Change of direction procedure. Driver needs to move to the other end of the train.
  5. What is a REFO?
    Change of direction procedure. The driver stays in the front loco but drives backwards.
