What is weathering?
Weathering can be caused by physical (wind, water or ice) chemical weathering (carbon dioxide gas dissolved in water)
What is Physical weathering?
Where the wind, water and ice wear away rock by rubbing past it
What is chemical weathering?
Where carbon dioxide gas is dissolved in water making it acidic. The acid causes the rock to dissolve. Usually only happens to sedimentary rocks like limestone.
