    • blotchy red small spot rash, begins on the face and spreads down the trunk

    • SSPE- degeneration of CNS, subacute panencephalitis
    • SSPE- 6-8 after, dementia, debilitating deadly brain disorder, spastic, quadriparesis, intellectual deterioration, behavioral changes
    • Symptoms: rash all over body, fever, runny nose, cough, sore throat or ear infection
    • baby: CRS congenital rebella syndrome, abnormalities, miscarriage, hearing loss, brain damage
    • Vaccine: MMR vaccine (measels mumps rubella)
    • No cure

    • Varicella virus
    • w/o vaccine worse
    • Spreads: air droplets, contagious
    • Rash: raised pink or red bumps (papules), which break out over several days Fluid-filled blisters (vesicles), forming from the raised bumps over about one day before breaking and leaking Crusts and scabs, which cover the broken blisters and take several more days to heal
    • Vaccine: Varicella Zoster vaccine
    • Remains dormant turns into---> Shingles
    • NO cure

    • Rash: redness of dermatones, clusters, elevated shiny apperance, single strides over side of the body, red rash that begins a few days after the pain Fluid-filled blisters that break open and crust over
