  1. Describe and draw a diagram of an upper course river landform?
    WATERFALL
  2. Step 1
Describe how in waterfalls the water flows over an area or hard rock, followed by an area of softer rock
  3. Step 2:
The softer rock is eroded more than the harder rock, this causes a step.
  4. Step 3:
Eventually, after time a steep drop is created, which is called a waterfall
  5. Step 4:
Hard rock is undercut by erosion and becomes unsupported and collapses
  6. Step 5:
Collapsed rock at the bottom is swirled around and erodes the softer rock by corrasion, this creates a plunge pool
  7. Step 6:
Overtime, more undercutting and erosion will occur which makes the waterfall retreat, leaving behind a steep gorgeĀ
  8. Can you draw this diagram?
