    • A positively or negatively charged atom or group of atoms.
  2. Chemical Bond:
    A chemical link between two atoms which hold the two atoms together.
  3. Ionic bond:
    A chemical bond that forms between oppositely charged atoms.
  4. Ionic Compound:
    A compound made of oppositely charged ions.
  5. Molecular Compound:
    A compound with particles made up of atoms held together by covalent bonds.

    A chemical bond in which two atoms share one or more pairs of electrons.
