    • Rate-60-100
    • Rhythm: regular
    • P-wave: normal, one for each QRS
    • P-R interval: 0.12-0.20 seconds
    • QRS Complex: less than 0.12 seconds
  2. SINUS Brady
    • Rate: 40-60
    • Rhythm: regular
    • P-wave: normal, before each QRS
    • P-R interval: 0.12-0.20 seconds
    • QRS Complex: less than 0.12 seconds
  3. Sinus Tachycardia
    • Rate: 100-160
    • Rhythm: regular
    • P-wave: regular, one for each QRS
    • P-R interval: 0.12-0.20 seconds
    • QRS Complex: less than 0.12 seconds
  4. Sinus arrhythmia
    • Rate: normal, brady, or tachy
    • Rhythm: regularly irregular
    • P-wave:regular, one for each QRS
    • P-R interval: 0.12-0.2 seconds
    • QRS complex: less than 0.12 seconds
  5. Sinus pause
    ** identify underlying rhythm, and frequency, and length of pause**
    • Rate: less than normal
    • rhythm:regular except for missed complex
    • P-wave: normal, one for each QRS-None during pause
    • P-R interval: 0.12-0.2 seconds
    • QRS complex: less than 0.12 sec
  6. Premature arterial contractions
    *identify underlying rhythm, frequency, and timing of PAC*
    • Rate: irregular r/t immature impulse
    • P-wave: present, but different than sinus P wave
    • P-R interval: 0.12-0.2 sec, but often different than sinus PR interval
    • QRS: less than 0.12 sec, all identical
  7. A-flutter
    • Rhythm: Atrial-250-350, ventricular-less than atrial
    • rhythm: flutter waves regular, QRS regualr
    • P-wave: saw tooth(no P wave)
    • P-R interval: n/a
    • QRS complex: less than 0.12 sec
  8. A-fib
    • Rate: atrial-UTM, ventricular-normal, brady, or tachy
    • rhythm: iregularly irregualr
    • P-wave: None, wavy baseline
    • P-R interval: n/a
    • QRS complex: less than 0.12 sec
  9. Supra ventricular tachycardia
    • Rate: atria-UTM, ventricular- 160-250
    • rhythm: regular
    • P-wave: UTM
    • P-R: UTM
    • QRS: less than 0.12 sec
  10. Junctional rhythms
    • Rate: 40-60, accelerated-60-100, junctional tachy- greater than 100
    • rhythm: regualr
    • P wave: inverted on Lead II, can be buried in QRS
    • P-R: if present less than 0.12 sec
    • QRS: less than 0.12 sec
  11. Premature Junctional contractions
    * identify underlying rate, frequency, and timing of PJC*
    • Rhythm: irregular r/t premature impulse
    • P wave:inverted on Lead II, can be buried in QRS
    • P-R: if present less than 0.12 sec
    • QRS: less than 0.12 sec
  12. 1 degree AV block
    *identify underlying rhythm*
    • Rate: normal or brady
    • rhythm: regular
    • P wave: for each QRS, normal
    • P-r interval: greater than .2 sec
    • qrs: less than .012
  13. 2nd degree AV block type 1(Mobitz 1)
    • Rate: slow or normal
    • Rhythm: P-P regular, R-R irregular
    • P wave: always more than QRS
    • P-r: inconsistent, lengthens until drops a complex then repeats
    • QRS: less than .12
  14. second degree AV block(mobitz 11)
    • rate: atria-normal, ventricular-slow
    • rhythm: regular or irregular
    • p wave: normal, more than QRS
    • P-R: consistent if present
    • QRS: greater then .12 sec
  15. third degree AV block(complete heart block)
    • rate: atria-normal, ventricles-20-40
    • rhythm: regular but independant
    • P wave: more than QRS
    • P-R: inconsistent
    • QRS: longer than .12
  16. BBB
    • Note underlying rhythm
    • QRS greater than .12
  17. PVC
    • ni related P wave
    • no PR interval
    • QRS greater than .12
    • T wave opposite direction
  18. idioventricular rhythm
    • rate: atria-none, ventricules-20-40
    • rhythm: regular
    • no P wave
    • QRS greater than .12
