    • Non-Narcotic analgesic
    • Antipyretic
  2. Acetaminophen(Tylenol)Mech
    • Inhibits the enzyme cyclooxygenase. 
    • Analgesic and Antipyretic properties similar to the NSAIDs but it has minimal anti-inflammatory properties. 
    • Does not have platelet aggregation inhibition properties of Aspirin

    Mild to moderate pain and fever

    • Hypersensitivity
    • Should be avoided in Pts with liver disease
  5. Acetaminophen(Tylenol) Adverse
    Minimal with recommended dosage range
  6. Acetaminophen(Tylenol) Dosage
    • Adult: 325-650mg PO every 4-6hrs
    • Peds: 10-15mg/kg every 4-6hrs
