characteristic of a substance that can be observer and measures without changing the identity of the substance.

    For example: Color,solubility, Crystal Shape
  7. Viscosity
measure of a substances resistance to flow

Examples: Mud has a low viscosity since it flows very slow!
  8. Melting Point
temperature at which a solid turns to a liquid
  9. Boiling Point
temperature at which a liquid turns into a gas

the ratio of the mass of a substance to the volume it occupies

  12. Chemical Property
ability of a substance to change or react, and to form new substances

Examples of Chemical Property: re-activity in water, re-activity in acid etc...
  13. Combustibility
    • ability of a substance to burn in the air.
