  1. what is a concurrent schedule
    the simultaneous presentation of two or more independent schedules, each leading to a reinforcer

    On a concurrent VI 10-s or VI 30-s schedule, the majority of responses (not all the responses) will go towards the VI 10-s schedule
  3. What is the matching law?
    the proportion of responses emitted on a particular schedule matches the proportion of reinforers obtained on that schedule
  4. How does the matching law allow us to predict response allocation on various concurrent VI-VI schedules?
    predicts a consistent relationship between the proportion of reinforcers obtained on a certain alternative and the proportion of responses emitted on that alternative

    more of a mentalistic view (behaviorist problem)

    yes, environment determines our behavior, but our behavior also effects our environment

    So we can learn to make responses that change our environment in ways that will produce desirable behavior
