- This something either:
- A) Caused itself to exist
- B) Was caused to exist by another
- C) Has alwas existed
- But nothing can cause itself to exist, so if it was caused to exist, then it was causedd by another
- there is no infinite sequence
There cannot be an infinite series of causes because without a 1st cause ther would be no subsequent causes
Therefore, there must be a 1st cause which is uncaused
