    Alcohol

    • To begin with, I have to say (that) I do not
    • like going out at night. The majority of the / Most young people do not agree  with me because any person can see that cities are full of youngsters at night at weekends.

    • On the one hand, I think (that) it is important
    • to say the majority of the / most young people do not have a good time when  they go out because they need to drink alcohol and take drugs.

    • On the other hand, I know (that) everybody is
    • different and a lot of people have a healthy lifestyle and they do not need to take dangerous things to have a good time.

    • To conclude, it is important to know where the
    • limits are, (in order) not to disturb the citizens who / that need to sleep and to lead / have a healthy lifestyle.

    • see very well. I am short-sighted and hard of hearing.

    • To conclude, I must say that I weigh 80 kilos
    • and I am 1´70 metres tall. I am middle-aged and I bite my nails when I am nervous.

    • To summarize what I have said, I think I am
    • generous, I am not mean and I realise I am self-confident.

Smoking is a controversial issue in western societies.

    • To start / begin
    • with, we can say that nowadays most / the majority of the people consider it a serious health risk.

    • Therefore /

    • To sum up, all the public efforts to make these people stop / give up smoking have not
