    What is the analogy (by Freud) that connects the Id and Ego?
    Id (evil): Immediate gratification; impulsive; unconsious; children; pleasure principle; unreasonable.

    Ego: reality principle, practical, reasonable, decision-making, problem-solving.

    Superego (angel): develops from ages 3-5; incorporates values and morals of society; consists of IDEAL SELF and CONSCIOUS.

    Id is the horse, Ego is the rider.
