    Step 1. Turn the second fraction (the one you want to divide by) upside down (this is now a reciprocal).

    Step 2. Multiply the first fraction by that reciprocal Step

    3. Simplify the fraction (if needed)
  5. 2/4 = reduced is 1/2
  6. 2/4 = reduced 1/2
  7. 1/2 x 2/5 =
    1/2 x 2/5 = 2/10 reduced is 1/5
  8. 1/2 / 1/6 =
    flip 1/6 to 6/1 then multiply 6x1 and 2x1 and you get 6/2 then divide and you get 3
