  1. Cell - pushes electrons around a circuit. A battery contains two or more cells.

  10. Heater - transfers electrical energy as heat energy to the surroundings
  11. Voltmeter - measures potential difference
  12. Thermistor - resistance greatly reduced by heating
  13. Light Dependent Resistor - with brighter light the resistance decreases
