    • *Electric fuel pump - on
    • *Primer - as required
    • *Propeller area - clear
    • *Magneto switches - on
    • *Starter - engage
    • *Throttle - adjust when engine start to 1000 RPM
    • *Oil pressure - check
    • Ammeters - check
    • Gyro vacuum - check
  3. Normal start - hot engine:
    *Means to repeat for second engine

    • Battery master switch - on
    • Landing gear lights - 3 green
    • Throttles - 1/2 inch open
    • Propeller controls - full forward
    • Mixtures - full rich
