  4. What is a firewall?
    A combination of hardware and software that protects a network from attack by hackers who could gain access through public networks, including internet.
  5. What is SOCKS?
    SOCKS is a protocol that can be used to create proxy connections through a firewall.
  6. What boarder device is used to protect security zones?
    Proxy Server
  7. What is a circuit level Proxy?
    It creates a circuit (connection) between the internal host and the outside server.
  8. What is (NAT)
    Network address translation
  9. What does NAT do?
    Translates a private address into a public address. Nat effectively hides your network from the world.
