  1. How to eliminate vectors to get the magnitude of the Force?
    • Take the squared product of the x component and the y squared product, sum them, then take the square root of the number.
    • For example:
    • to find the magnitude of C given 
    • C = (A)x + (B)y 
    • then 
    • C= √(A2) +(B2)
  2. Newton unit (N)
    kg·m/s2
  3. Dot Product
    The magnitude of one vector time the magnitude of the other vector times the cosine of the angle between the two vectors.
  4. Work is positive
    • when Force and component are going in the same direction'
    • speed increases
  5. Work is negative
    • when the force and the component in the direction of motion is opposite
    • speed decreases
  6. Work is zero
    When Force and the component of motion are at a 90 degree angle
