    • -can occur at atria, atrioventricular node, bundle of His, or purkinje system

    • -also determines the Rh factor (positive or negative) of the surface of the blood cells (positive or negative)
  74. Blood Uric Acid Level

    • -the level of uric acid in the blood
    • -measured by a blood test to diagnose gout
    • -uric acid is a waste byproduct produced by the liver and excreted by the kidneys. If the kidneys do not excrete enough uric acid, or the liver produces too much, it will end up in the blood, leading to hyperuricemia
