Feeding Progression & Months
- 5-7 months: takes cereal/food from spoon
- 6-8 months: attempts to hold bottle, may drop
- 6-9 months: holds and bangs spoon, holds and sucks cracker, eats soft dissolvable food
- 9-13 months: finger feeding
- 12-14 months: spoon use, but spills contents before getting to mouth
- 15-18 months: spoon use, brings to mouth
- 24-30 months: attempts use of fork, great at using spoon!
