    Routing Protocol determines the path of the packet through the network.

    Routed Protocol is assigned to the interface and determines the method of delivery. Operate on layer 3 of the OSI model.

    *Routing Protocols are languages that routers use to talk to each other. This coomunication allows router to "see" the network topology so that a best path can be selected.
