    • 3) Engine Fire Switch (affected engine) - CONFIRM - PULL
    • 4) IF the FIRE ENG message is shown:
    • - Engine fire switch (affected engine) - rotate to the stop and hold for 1 second
    • IF after 30 sendonds, the FIRE ENG message stays shown:
    • - Engine Fire Switch (affected engine) - Rotate to the other stop and hold for 1 second
  5. What is the recall for Engine Limit or Surge or Stall?
    1) Thurst lever (affected engine) - confirm - retard until engine indications stay within limits, or the thrust lever is at idle.
  6. What is the recall for Multiple Engine Flameout or Stall (GE)?
    • 1) FUEL CONTROL switches (affected engines) - CONFIRM - CUTOFF then RUN
    • 2) IF EGT increases rapidly approaching the EGT takeoff limit (960 degrees):
    • Repeate the above step as needed
  7. What is the recall for Multiple Engine Flamout or Stall (RR)?
    • 1) CON IGNITION switch - ON
    • 2) FUEL CONTROL switches (affected engines) - CONFIRM - CUTOFF then RUN
    • 3) IF EGT increases rapidly approaching the EGT start limit (600 Degrees):
    • Repeat the above step as needed
  8. What is the recall for AUTOMATIC UNLOCK?
    1) FLT DK DOOR lock selector - Rotate to DENY and hold for 1 second
  9. What is the PA for a ditching?

  10. What is the Basic Impact Drill for a Ditching?
    • 1.) Fit lifejacket and take torch.
    • 2.) Duties as directed by the Captain.
    • 3.) When all assistance rendered, evacuate.
  11. What is the PA for evacuation?
    "Evacuate, Evacuate, Evacuate"
  12. What is the Basic Impact Drill for a Land Impact?
    • 1.) Take torch.
    • 2.) Duties as directed by the Captain.
    • 3.) When all assistance rendered, evacuate.
    • 4.) Assist on the ground.
  13. RTO Brief: Prior to 80 Knots the takeoff should be rejected for what reasons (10 items)
    • 1. Activation of the master caution system
    • 2. System failure
    • 3. Unusual noise or vibration
    • 4. Tyre failure
    • 5. Abnormally slow acceleration
    • 6. Takeoff configuration warning
    • 7. Fire or fire warning (of any kind)
    • 8. Engine failure
    • 9. Predictive windshear warning
    • 10. If the airplane is unsafe or unable to fly
  14. RTO Brief: Above 80kt and prior to V1, the takeoff should be rejected for what reasons? (4 items)
    • 1. Fire or fire warning (of any kind)
    • 2. Engine failure
    • 3. Predictive windshear warning
    • 4. If the airplane is unsafe or unable to fly
  15. What are the Captain actions in a RTO?
    • Without delay:
    • • Simultaneously close thrust levers, disconnect autothrottle, and apply maximum manual wheel brakes or verify operation of RTO autobrake.
    • • If RTO autobrake selected, monitor system performance and apply manual wheel brakes if AUTOBRAKES message displayed or deceleration not adequate.
