  1. IMMEDIATE AIRSTART (PMU NORM)
1W – Airstart envelope (125-200 KIAS, SL to 15,000’, 135-200 KIAS, 15,001 to 20,000’). Attempts outside envelope may cause overheat1.
  2. 1. PCL – OFF
    • 2W – Eject below 2,000 AGL
    • 3W – PCL must be in off to feather. Ensure proper starter, ignition, boost pump, and pmu operation during airstart
    • 4C – PCL must be in off. Otherwise, fuel may be prematurely introduced
  3. 2. STARTER SWITCH – AUTO/RESET
    None
  4. 3. PCL – IDLE, ABOVE 13% N1
    • 5W – Moving PCL before N1 reach IDLE RPM will increase fuel flow and may cause failure due to overtempt
    • 6C – N1 rises in 5 sec or airstart unsuccessful
  5. 4. ENGINE INSTRUMENTS – MONITOR ITT, N1, AND OIL PRESSURE
    None
  6. 5. PCL – OFF
7C – ITT rises in 10 sec after fuel flow or airstart unsuccessful; PCL off and abort start

    None
  8. 7. EXECUTE FORCED LANDING OR EJECT
