Problem solving

Target Variable
The quantity whose value you're trying to find.

Identify
Find out what is relivant, find target variable.

Set Up
The problem: figure out what tools to use (ie:equations), how to use them possably draw a sketch.

Execute
The solution: "do the math". List equations and variables, then solve the variables.

Evaluate
Your answer: does your answer make sence?

Model
A simplified version of a physical system that would be too complicated to analyze in full detail.

Physical Quantity
Any number that is used to describe a physical phenomenon quantitatively.

Operational definition
Defined by how we use them.
