It was the tallest building in the world from 1974 – 1997.
Now it is the tallest building in North America.
One of the most popular attractions at the Sears Tower is “The Ledge”, a glass balcony that extends 4 ft.
You can look straight down!
The first McDonald’s was in Des Plaines, Illinois!
The Chicago River is dyed green on St. Patrick’s Day.
Our next stop is Missouri.

If you’re ever in Missouri, you have to stop and see the St. Louis Gateway Arch.
It is 630 ft. tall and weighs 43,000 tons!
Taking a ride down the Mississippi River (the biggest river in the U.S.) on a Riverboat, is a MUST!
Our last stop is South Dakota.
The most popular attraction in South Dakota is Mount Rushmore.
It took 14 years and 400 workers to sculpt the faces of U.S. presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln.
