Define: Phenomenon, Concept, and Constructs
Phenomenon: Any proccess known through the senses rather than by intuition or reasoning, any observable occurence
Concept: An abstract or general idea infered or derived from specific instances i.e. good health, pain, emotional disturbance, etc.
** Phenomenon and concept are often used interchangeably
Construct: concepts that represent non-observable phenomenon, abstractions that are deliberately and systematically invented or constructed by researchers for a specific purpose. i.e. self care, models of health maintenance.
