    • SITE IS CLEANED WITH IODINE OR CHLORAPREP. BLOOD CULTURE MUST NOT BE INVERTED, BUT CARRIED ON A PNEUMATIC TUBE OR PLACED IN A CENTRIFUGE. IT IS TAKEN TO THE MICROBIOLGY DEPT. FOR TESTING)
