Dietary Referance Intake (DRI)
- sets values for vitamins, minerals, carbs, fiber, lipid, protien, water, and energy.
- 45-65 % total cal from carb
- 20-30 % total cal from fat
- 10-35 % total cal from protien
Standards used on food labels, apply to everyone eating 2000 cal a day
