  1. EMERGENCY DESCENT
    • Announce the emergency Descent.
    •    PF: "Attention cabin crew, prepare for Emergency Descent"
    •    PM: "MAYDAY, MAYDAY, MAYDAY, ATC, TurkishXXX, Emergency Descent to 10,000ft, Request QNH and Verify MSA"
    • Passenger signs................................ON
    • Without delay, descend to the lowest safe altitude or 10,000 feet, whichever is higher
    • ENGINE START switches (both)...................CONT
    • Thrust levers (both)...........................Reduce thrust to minimum or as needed for anti-ice
    • Speedbrake.....................................FLIGHT DETENT
    • !!! If structural integrity is in doubt, limit speed as much as possible and avoid high maneuvering loads
    • Set target speed to Mmo/Vmo
  2. CABIN ALTITUDE WARNING or Rapid Depressurization
    • Don oxygen masks and set regulators to 100%.
    • Establish crew communications.
    • Pressurization mode selector...................MAN
    • Outflow VALVE switch ...Hold in CLOSE until outflow VALVE indicates fully closed
    • If cabin altitude is uncontrollable:
    •    Passenger signs........................ON
    •    If cabin altitude exceeds or is expected to exceed 14,000 feet:
    •       PASS OXYGEN switch..................ON
    •    >>Go to the Emergency Descent checklist on page 0.1
  3. Aborted Engine Start
    Engine start lever (affected engine)...........CUTOFF
  4. Engine Limit or Surge or Stall
    • Autothrottle (if engaged)......................Disengage
    • Thrust lever (affected engine)...Confirm.......Retard until indications stay within limits or the thrust lever is closed
  5. Loss Of Thrust On Both Engines
    • Engine start switches (both)...................FLT
    • Engine start levers (both).....................CUTOFF
    • When EGT decreases:
    • Engine start levers (both).............IDLE detent
    • If EGT reaches 950C or there is no increase in EGT within 30 seconds:
    •    Engine start lever (affected engine)...Confirm.CUTOFF, then IDLE detent
    •    If EGT again reaches 950C or there is no increase in EGT within 30 seconds, repeat as needed.
  6. APU FIRE
    • APU fire switch...Confirm......................Pull, rotate to the stop, and hold for 1 second
    • APU switch.....................................OFF
  7. ENGINE FIRE or Engine Severe Damage or Separation
    • Autothrottle (if engaged)......................Disengage
    • Thrust lever (affected engine)...Confirm.......Close
    • Engine start lever (affected engine)...Confirm.CUTOFF
    • Engine fire switch (affected engine)...Confirm.Pull.
    •    To manually unlock the engine fire switch, press the override and pull.
    • If the engine fire switch or ENG OVERHEAT light stays illuminated:
    •    Engine fire switch.....................Rotate to the stop and hold for 1 second
    •    If after 30 seconds the engine fire switch or ENG OVERHEAT light stays illuminated:
    •       Engine fire switch.............Rotate to the other stop and hold for 1 second
  8. ENGINE OVERHEAT
    • Autothrottle (if engaged)......................Disengage
    • Thrust lever (affected engine)...Confirm.......Close
    • If the ENG OVERHEAT light stays illuminated:
    •    >>Go to the ENGINE FIRE or Engine Severe Damage or Separation checklist on page 8.2
  9. Runaway Stabilizer
    • Control column.................................Hold firmly
    • Autopilot (if engaged).........................Disengage
    •    Do not re-engage the autopilot.
    •    Control airplane pitch attitude manually with control column and main electric trim as needed.
    • Autothrottle (if engaged)....... Disengage
    •    Do not re-engage the autothrottle.
    • If the runaway stops after the autopilot is disengaged: - Checklist complete
    • If the runaway continues after the autopilot is disengaged:
    •    STAB TRIM CUTOUT switches (both).......CUTOUT
    •    If the runaway continues:
    •       Stabilizer trim wheel..........Grasp and hold
  10. Airspeed Unreliable
    • Adjust the airplane attitude and thrust.Maintain airplane control.
    • PROBE HEAT switches............................Check ON.
    • Cross check the MACH/AIRSPEED indicators.
  11. TAKEOFF CONFIGURATION
    Assure correct airplane takeoff configuration.
  12. LANDING CONFIGURATION
    Assure correct airplane landing configuration.
  13. WARNING HORN - CABIN ALTITUDE OR CONFIGURATION
    • If the intermittent warning horn sounds or a CABIN ALTITUDE light illuminates in flight at an airplane flight altitude above 10,000 feet MSL:
    •    Don the oxygen masks and set the regulators to 100%.
    •    Establish crew communications.
    •    >>Go to the CABIN ALTITUDE WARNING or Rapid Depressurization checklist on page 2.1
    •          -Checklist Complete-
    • If the intermittent warning horn sounds or a TAKEOFF CONFIG light illuminates on the ground when advancing the thrust levers to takeoff thrust:
    •    Assure correct airplane takeoff configuration.
    •          -Checklist Complete-
    • If steady warning horn sounds in flight:
    • Assure correct airplane landing configuration.
