    • Origin- Supraspinous fossa of the scapula
    • Insertion- Greater tubercle of the humerus (right on top)

    • Laterally rotates shoulder
    • Adducts shoulder
    • Stabilizes head of humerus in glenoid cavity

    • B (insertion is deep to posterior deltoid)
  7. Origin and insertion of subscapularis
    • Origin- subscapular fossa of the scapula (anterior)
    • Insertion- Lesser tubercle of the humerus
  8. Action, R/NR and D/S/B of Subscapularis
    • Medially rotates the shoulder joint
    • Stabilizes head of the humerus in glenoid cavity
