What is electricity?
Electricy is the movement of protons and electrons transforming energy into light, sound, etc.
What is a resistor?
A resistor is an electric device that transforms electrical energy provided by a voltage source into other forms
What is a voltage source?
A voltage source is a device that can transform other kinds of energy into electrical energy
What is a series circuit?
A series circuit is is a closed conducting loop that has a voltage source and at least one resistor. If one light goes out, they all go out, since they are connected on the same path
What is a parallel circuit?
A parallel circuit is when a simple circuit is split into more than one loop. If one light goes out, the rest will stay lit since there is more than one path for electrons to flow
