    • A syllable is long by nature if it contains a long vowel(a vowel with a macron over it).
    • A syllable is long by nature if it contains a diphthong.
  7. Long by Position
    • A syllable is long by position if its vowel is followed by two or more consonants.
    • A syllable is long by position if its vowel is followed by a double consonant(-x or -z).

    Add -ne to the end of the first word in the sentance.
  9. Quetsions: Yes
    Use a negative word (usually non) with the -ne attached to it at the beggining of the sentance.
