Causes bronchiodilaton and relief of bronchospasm
Bronchial asthma; Reversiable bronchospasm associated with chronic brochtis and causes of emphysema
Patients with a known hypersensitivity to the drug.
Palpatations, anxiety, nausea, dizziness Monitor vital signs. Use caution when administering to pts with a Hx of crdiovascular disease or hypertension.
Dosage and Administration
- Adult:2.5mg of the drug placed in 3ml of normal saline for inhalation and administer by updraft @ 7-10 LPM may repeat every 5 minutes if heart rate is less then 150
- Pediatric:25mg of the drug placed in 3ml of normal saline for inhalation and administered by updraft @ 7-10 LPM may reapeat every 5 bminutes if heart rate is less than 200
