    • AIRSPEED - VMO
    • ATC - NOTIFY/XPDR 7700

    • * Consider LSA/MSA & level out at a safe altitude
    • * Announce to cabin crew that a safe altitude has been reached
    • "THIS IS THE CAPTAIN, A SAFE ALTITUDE HAS BEEN REACHED"
  4. START SELECT FAILS TO DISENGAGE
    • (START Light remains illuminated)
    • START SELECT - OFF
    • NOTE - Engine START & SELECT lights will take approximately 5 seconds to go out
  5. ABORTED ENGINE START
    (Failure to Light up within 10 sec OR imminent over temp)
  6. CONDITION LEVER - FUEL OFF
  7. IF ITT DOESN'T DECREASE IMMEDIATELY
  8. FUEL OFF HANDLE - PULL
    IGNITION (affected engine) - OFF
  9. * Motor engine for 15 sec
    • START SELECT - OFF^
  10. Note - ^Always actioned by FO
  11. #1 OR #2 ENG OIL PRESS

    Conduct "ENGINE SHUTDOWN'' drill

    ENGINE SHUTDOWN
    (IN FLIGHT)
    IF ON T/O OR MISSED APPROACH

    • LANDING GEAR - UP, NO LIGHTS
    • FLAPS - ZERO

    [AFFECTED ENGINE]

    • POWER LEVER - FLT IDLE
    • CONDITION LEVER - FUEL OFF
    • PROPELLER - CHECKED FEATHERED

    IF PROPELLER NOT FEATHERED

    • ALTERNATE FEATHER - FEATHER
    • PROPELLER - CHECKED FEATHERED
    • FUEL OFF HANDLE - PULL

    (Check fuel valve closed EXTG fwd & aft Btl advisory lights illuminated)

    TANK AUX PUMP - OFF

    IF FIRE OR SEVERE DAMAGE INDICATED

    FIRE EXTINGUISHER - FWD BTL

    (Check EXTG FWD BTL advisory light out)

    IF FIRE PERSISTS AFTER 30 SEC

    FIRE EXTINGUISHER - AFT BTL

    (Check EXTG AFT BTL advisory light out)

    (Above acceleration altitude)
  14. SYNCHROPHASE - OFF

    ILLUMINATED PUSH OFF SWITCHLIGHTS - PUSH OFF

    • IF SPLR 1 OR SPLR 2 PUSH OFF SWITCHLIGHTS DO NOT ILLUMINATE
    • POWER - APPLY
    • AIRSPEED - INCREASE

    • PILOT FLYING - CALL"ROLL JAM"
    • AUTOPILOT - DISCONNECT
    • ROLL DISCONNECT - PULL & ROTATE 90o
    • CONTROL WHEEL BOTH PILOTS ATTEMPT TO ROLL - WINGS LEVEL

    CAUTION ENSURE ROLL DISCONNECT HANDLE WAS ROTATED 90o TO LOCK

    (The pilot with the free control wheel will have roll control)
