    • MIC SWITCH - MASK
    • CREW COMMUNICATION - ESTABLISH
    • SMOKE GOGGLES - DON, (IF REQUIRED)
  2. RAPID DEPRESSURISATION
    • OXYGEN DRILL - COMPLETE
    • IF PRESSURISATION CANNOT BE CONTROLLED
    • EMERGENCY DESCENT - INITIATE
  3. EMERGENCY DESCENT
    • * Announce to the cabin crew intention to descend time permitting
    • "THIS IS THE CAPTAIN, EMERGENCY DESCENT"
    • CABIN SEAT BELT SIGN - ON
    • POWER LEVERS - FLT IDLE
    • CONDITION LEVERS - MAX
    • AUTOPILOT - DISENGAGE

    • [Entry Manouvre] INITIATE 30o ANGLE OF BANK TURN OFF AIRWAY & COMMENCE DESCENT
    • AIRSPEED - VMO
    • ATC - NOTIFY/XPDR 7700

    • * Consider LSA/MSA & level out at a safe altitude
    • * Announce to cabin crew that a safe altitude has been reached
    • "THIS IS THE CAPTAIN, A SAFE ALTITUDE HAS BEEN REACHED"
  4. START SELECT FAILS TO DISENGAGE
    • (START Light remains illuminated)
    • START SELECT - OFF
    • NOTE - Engine START & SELECT lights will take approximately 5 seconds to go out
  5. ABORTED ENGINE START
    (Failure to Light up within 10 sec OR imminent over temp)

    CONDITION LEVER - FUEL OFF

    IF ITT DOESN'T DECREASE IMMEDIATELY

    • FUEL OFF HANDLE - PULL
    • IGNITION (affected engine) - OFF

    • * Motor engine for 15 sec
    • START SELECT - OFF^

    Note - ^Always actioned by FO
  6. #1 OR #2 ENG OIL PRESS
    (WARNING LIGHT)
    Conduct "ENGINE SHUTDOWN'' drill
  7. ENGINE FIRE or
    ENGINE SHUTDOWN
    (IN FLIGHT)
    IF ON T/O OR MISSED APPROACH

    • LANDING GEAR - UP, NO LIGHTS
    • FLAPS - ZERO

    [AFFECTED ENGINE]

    • POWER LEVER - FLT IDLE
    • CONDITION LEVER - FUEL OFF
    • PROPELLER - CHECKED FEATHERED

    IF PROPELLER NOT FEATHERED

    • ALTERNATE FEATHER - FEATHER
    • PROPELLER - CHECKED FEATHERED
    • FUEL OFF HANDLE - PULL

    (Check fuel valve closed EXTG fwd & aft Btl advisory lights illuminated)

    TANK AUX PUMP - OFF

    IF FIRE OR SEVERE DAMAGE INDICATED

    FIRE EXTINGUISHER - FWD BTL

    (Check EXTG FWD BTL advisory light out)

    IF FIRE PERSISTS AFTER 30 SEC

    FIRE EXTINGUISHER - AFT BTL

    (Check EXTG AFT BTL advisory light out)
  8. PROPELLER OVERSPEED
    (Above acceleration altitude)

    • SYNCHROPHASE - OFF
    • AIRSPEED - REDUCED
    • POWER LEVER (AFFECTED ENGINE) - FLT IDLE
    • CONDITION LEVER - START/FEATHER

    IF PROPELLER DOESN'T FEATHER

    ALTERNATE FEATHER - FEATHER

    IF PROPELLER FEATHERS

    CONDUCT ENGINE SHUTDOWN DRILL

    IF PROPELLER DOESN'T FEATHER

    • CONDITION LEVER - MAX
    • POWER LEAVER - ADVANCE
    • (DO NOT EXCEED 1212RPM)
    • * Power as required
    • * Land asap
  9. PROPELLER UNSCHEDULED FEATHER
    • (May be indicated by high torque)
    • (ABOVE ACCELERATION ALTITUDE)

    IF APU HAS NOT SHUTDOWN AUTOMATICALLY

    • APU MASTER SWITCH - OFF
    • FIRE EXT SWITCH - ON

    NOTE - DO NOT ATTEMPT TO RESTART THE APU

    General procedures

    • OXYGEN MASKS - ON/100% EMERG

    • CABIN SIGNS - ON

    * Consider smoke evacuation

    • IF SOURCE OF FIRE/SMOKE IS ELECTRICAL
    • RELEVANT POWER SUPPLY - REMOVE
  13. IMPACT DRILL
    PNF TO ACTION ON PF COMMAND

    • CONDITION LEVERS - FUEL OFF
    • FUEL OFF HANDLES - PULL BOTH
    • FIRE EXTINGUISHERS LEFT ENG - FWD BTL
    • FIRE EXTINGUISHERS RIGHT ENG - AFT BTL
    • BATTERY MASTER - OFF

    • AFTER A/C HAS COME TO REST
    • EVACUATION - INITIATE
  14. EVACUATION PROCEDURE

    • PROCEED TO CABIN TAKE TORCH & FIRE EXTINGUISHER
    • ENSURE SUITABLE EMERGENCY EXITS ARE OPEN

    • DIRECT & ASSEMBLE PASSENGERS UPWIND
    • CONTROL PASSENGERS

    • DON LIFE JACKET (IF DITCHING) - DO NOT INFLATE
    • PROCEED TO CABIN
    • BLOCK UNUSABLE EXITS
    • EVACUATE THE A/C AFTER THE PASSENGERS
    • ASSIST WITH LIFERAFT BOARDING OF THE PASSENGERS
  15. ROLL CONTROL MALFUNCTION
    IF SPLR 1 OR SPLR 2 PUSH OFF SWITCHLIGHTS ILLUMINATE CONTINUOUSLY

    ILLUMINATED PUSH OFF SWITCHLIGHTS - PUSH OFF

    • IF SPLR 1 OR SPLR 2 PUSH OFF SWITCHLIGHTS DO NOT ILLUMINATE
    • POWER - APPLY
    • AIRSPEED - INCREASE
  16. ROLL CONTROL JAM
    • PILOT FLYING - CALL"ROLL JAM"
    • AUTOPILOT - DISCONNECT
    • ROLL DISCONNECT - PULL & ROTATE 90o
    • CONTROL WHEEL BOTH PILOTS ATTEMPT TO ROLL - WINGS LEVEL

    CAUTION ENSURE ROLL DISCONNECT HANDLE WAS ROTATED 90o TO LOCK

    (The pilot with the free control wheel will have roll control)

    (ILLUMINATION OF THE GROUND SPOILER ADVISORY LIGHT)

    • ROLL CONTROL - HOLD WINGS LEVEL
    • POWER - APPLY AS REQ'D
    • AIRSPEED - INCREASE

    • PILOT FLYING - CALL"PITCH JAM"
    • AUTOPILOT - DISCONNECT
    • FLAP & AIRSPEED - MAINTAIN AT TIME OF JAM
    • PITCH CONTROL - BOTH PILOTS ATTEMPT TO OVERCOME JAM

    IF UNABLE TO OVERCOME JAM

    • CONTROL COLUMN - RELAX CONTROL COLUMN FORCE
    • PITCH DISCONNECT - PULL & ROTATE 90O

    CAUTION ENSURE PITCH DISCONNECT HANDLE WAS ROTATED 90O TO LOCK

    THE PILOT WITH THE FREE COLUMN WILL HAVE PITCH CONTROL
