    • * Consider LSA/MSA & level out at a safe altitude
    • * Announce to cabin crew that a safe altitude has been reached
    • "THIS IS THE CAPTAIN, A SAFE ALTITUDE HAS BEEN REACHED"
  4. START SELECT FAILS TO DISENGAGE
    • (START Light remains illuminated)
    • START SELECT - OFF
    • NOTE - Engine START & SELECT lights will take approximately 5 seconds to go out
  5. ABORTED ENGINE START
    (Failure to Light up within 10 sec OR imminent over temp)
  6. CONDITION LEVER - FUEL OFF
  7. IF ITT DOESN'T DECREASE IMMEDIATELY
  8. FUEL OFF HANDLE - PULL

    • LANDING GEAR - UP, NO LIGHTS
    • FLAPS - ZERO

    • POWER LEVER - FLT IDLE
    • CONDITION LEVER - FUEL OFF
    • PROPELLER - CHECKED FEATHERED

    IF PROPELLER NOT FEATHERED

    • ALTERNATE FEATHER - FEATHER
    • PROPELLER - CHECKED FEATHERED
    • FUEL OFF HANDLE - PULL

    (Check fuel valve closed EXTG fwd & aft Btl advisory lights illuminated)

    TANK AUX PUMP - OFF

    IF FIRE OR SEVERE DAMAGE INDICATED

    FIRE EXTINGUISHER - FWD BTL

    (Check EXTG FWD BTL advisory light out)

    IF FIRE PERSISTS AFTER 30 SEC

    FIRE EXTINGUISHER - AFT BTL

    (Check EXTG AFT BTL advisory light out)
