  4. Engine Fire Detector Failure
    If FIRE DET FAIL light illuminates following an ENG FIRE PUSH switch illumination, the fire should be considered to be burning

    • Engine Fire Procedure...........Complete
    • Remaining Illum Eng Fire Bottle Switch..Push
    • Land..............Nearest Suitable Airport

    • If FIRE DET FAIL light illuminates without an ENG FIRE PUSH switch illumination or any other indication of an engine fire:
    • Repair fault prior to next flight
  5. Engine Failure in Landing Configuration
    • Thrust (operating engine) Required
    • Airspeed Vref
  6. Dual Engine Flameout
    • Immediate Relight:
    • N2 Verify above 52%
    • CAUTION
    • Engine damage may result if an immediate relight is attemted below 52% N2
    • Ignitions ...............................On

    • If N2 is not above 52% or neither engine relights:
    • Battery.................................Emer
  7. Inadvertent thrust reverser deployment during takeoff below V1 (takeoff aborted)
    • 1. Brakes- apply
    • 2. Thrust- idle
    • 3. Speedbrakes- extend
    • 4. Thrust reversers- both deploy
  8. Inadvertent thrust reverser deployment during takeoff above v1 (takeoff continued)
    • 1. Emergency stow push switch- push
    • 2. Nose up pitch attitude at rotation- 13-15 degrees desired
    • 3. Landing gear (positive climb)- up
    • 4. Airspeed- v2

    • If thrust reverser does not stow and lock, then:
    • 5. Thrust lever (affected engine)- cutoff
  9. Inadvertent thrust reverser deployment in flight
    • 1. Emergency Stow Push Switch (affected engine)-PUSH
    • 2. Altitude-BELOW 30,000 FEET
    • 3. Airspeed (until reverser stows/locks)-BELOW 135 KIAS
  10. inadvertent Overspeed
    • Thrust............IDLE
    • Speed-brakes............EXT
    • If airplane is in a nose-down attitude, initiate a wings level pull up without exceeding structural limits (3.2 gs)
  11. Loss of Airpeed Indication
    • 1.Autopilot....................DISCONNECT
    • 2.Airspeed.................Slow to 0.2 AOA
    • 3.Thrust......................As Required
    • (Slow to 0.25 AOA with speed brakes extended)

    • Cabin pressure source....Isolate by selecting L ENG or R ENG

    TRIM INT/ AP disengage switch PUSH AND HOLD
  20. Power Brake Failure
    Break safety wire and remove guard clip on emergency brake handle

    Emergency Brakes...APPLY gradually
  21. Autopilot Trim Fail
    Trim Indications...check for proper position for flight conditions.

    TRIM INT/AP Disengage switch...PUSH
  22. Autopilot Over-speed Recovery
    Thrust.........IDLE
  23. Flight Director Malfunctions
    TRIM INT/AP Disengage switch...PUSH
