    1) Absolute Alcohol saturated wtih Picric Acid. After treatment of 10 mins to 3 hours wash with distilled water.

    2) 70% alcohol containing ammonium hydroxide for 30 mins to 3 hours. After treatment rinse in 1% acetic acid then distilled water.
  13. What is used to remove Mercury Pigment?
    Deparaffinize and hydrate the slides. Treat with Lugol Iodine for 10 mins, Wash in running water, place in 5% solution of sodium thiosulfate for 3 mins. Wash in distilled water.
