    Recombinant DNA product from pancreatic alpha cells used to increase blood glucose levels.

    • Caution in pts with history of cardiovascular or renal disease

  8. Side Effects:
    Dizziness, headache, hypotension, nausea, vomiting
  9. Adult Dose
    • 0.25-0.5 units IV

    • If no IV access, 1 mg glucagon IM

    0.03 mg/kg

    One dose
