  19. Personal Directives Act?
    • To provide the ability to Albertans to provide advance personal instructions regarding their own personal matters
    • AKA: DNR Orders
  20. Requirements for a DNR?
    • Be in writing
    • Be dated
    • Be signed at the end by the maker in the presence of a witness
    • Be signed at the end by the witness in the presence of the maker
  21. Occupational Health & Safety Act?
    • To provide a safe and healthy working environment for all Albertans by defining:
    •  Obligations of employers, workers, etc
    •  Regulation of a safe working environment
    •  What protection is required for a worker
    •  What safety procedures are required for varying worksites
