    • Pts weight in lbs drop last digit and subtract 10%
    • 220 (22-2) = 20 drops per min
    • 2-10 mcg/kg/min, titrate to desired effect.
    • 400 mg in 250 mL D5W (1600mcg/mL) using a 60 drop set

    • Mix 2 gram Magnesium Sulfate into 100 mL D5W using a 10 drop set, run over 10 minutes (Approximately 2 drops per second).
    • For OB Emergency:
    • Mix 4 grams Magnesium Sulfate into 100 mL D5W using a 10 drop set, run over 30 minutes (Approximately 1 drop every 2 seconds)
